Therioshamanism is a term coined by therian and neopagan practitioner Lupa, specifically to refer to a personal neoshamanic path she created based on her practices and experiences. It is not "therian shamanism", and as stated on her FAQ, "The only connections between therioshamanism and therianthropy are the root word therios, and the fact that I happen to be a therianthrope. I am NOT starting a therian religion, this is NOT therian magic. That being said, some therians may find it of interest because of the connection to animals, but the same could be said of totemists, animists and shamanists."
